Wednesday in Review

I had a great day yesterday, thinking about all my Spark friends rooting for me! I can't thank you enough for all of your support and kind words.

I went to the "Step and Sculpt" class for only the second time. This class is led by the woman I originally dubbed the "Spandex Nazi" -- she is unmoved by groans, moans, or protests from the class. In fact, she acts like she's deaf. I kept up with the hour of step pretty well--what a workout! Then she announced the last 15 minutes would be doing "PLANK WORK". I tried, I really did. I held the first plank for 2 minutes but then we were supposed to stay in the plank position and alternately lift our legs. Yeah, that was it for me! I was outta there!

From my GoWearFit device for Wednesday:

Calories burned: 2,650
Calories consumed: 1218
Calorie deficit: 1,432
Steps taken: 16,218
Intentional Exercise: 60 minutes of step aerobics, 2 miles in 33 minutes on the treadmill

I also helped TC cut down a tree. (Well, he cut it down, I ferried the branches and logs to another location. I made lots of trips and got in lots of steps!)

I'm expecting to have another good day today. Our neighbor gave me lots of fresh veggies from her garden and I'm planning more quality time with the Spandex Nazi.

Have a great Thursday, everyone! You'll never have another day exactly like this one, so give it all you've got!

Spandex Nazi...lol..over the years I've called a few of my instructors that. I swear they push you even harder when they hear the moans & groans. But I can say one thing..I've gotten the best results from their pushing.

Seriously..a 2 minute plank...your a rock star. I use to be able to hold one for a minute, now I'd be lucky if I can hold one for 10 seconds.

    Keep up the great work.

You are so in the zone (I said that yesterday but then I realized you probably would never see the comment).

You are really inspiring me to get into my own zone and work it!!

    Keep blogging!!

Have always LOVED the 'Spandex Nazi' moniker. DD is in swim lessons this week at a club I used to be member to -- those words come up with my inside smirk at the instructors strolling by to torture their next class.

2 minute planks???? Major Credtis!! Just think how Super Woman you'll feel that first day soon you add a leg lift!
