First Day Back on Track!
Monday, June 18, 2012
I'm back to my normal routine today. Had a great breakfast that was all portioned out.
I did my walk at lunch. It was a bit slower than normal. Not too bad, we usually do it in 20 minutes. Took just shy of 30.
I got home and walked the personal trainer. She was a lunatic. She was bouncing instead of walking. I have never seen a happier dog! The wind was a bit strong, but that's Chicago. It didn't blow the dog over and I didn't need to hang on to a tree, just one pigeon flying in place, so not bad.
I had bought some resistance bands last Monday, night before the accident. I did the exercises on the DVD for 35 minutes. Worked up quite a sweat and it was fun. Hopefully I can get a bit further every time.
I did manage to kill another pedometer. I'm not certain how I broke it. However, I am certain my table didn't do 99,999 steps while I was strength training. So I'm off to the store. I will not go a day without a pedometer. I love tracking my steps.
So I'm back on track. I've extremely sore and I really just want to go to bed. First I need to go to the store. Then I need to portion my food for the rest of the week. So I'm out of here. Night guys!
