Making time Day 2

Monday, June 18, 2012

Yesterday (Father's Day) I decided to make an honest effort on doing what I need to in order to have more children. I need to lose about 70 pounds in order to take the next step on trying to have more children and being that I'm already 34, I've gotta get this done before kids have kids...LOL! So, I started tracking my food and increasing my exercise. The more time I'm moving the less time I'm filling my face with crap. Yesterday, we did a really short hike (like maybe 15 - 20 minutes) and then did a 2 mile walk on a path. Today we did 2 miles on the path. Yesterday I tracked my nutrition and found I was OVER on all the bad stuff but under in calcium & fiber. Today I am trying to "keep an eye" on it but not be completely obsessed. Looks like I'll be finishing off the day within limits for most things but still under for protein, calcium and fiber. Major improvement, still a lot of work to go! I'm doing the daily weigh in for accountability and I know that if I'm looking I actually work harder at seeing results. I will go away for about 10 days and not have a scale but will have to log food/fitness and will have to blog, but it might be much shorter. Thank you to everyone who supports me in this journey. To those I "left" here, I'm sorry to have left you down.

You CAN do anything you put your mind to. Keep the fresh fruits and veggies flowing, and the fiber will improve. I'm so happy for you, and you know I'm ready for a walk any time! Sneakers are already in the car................waiting. One foot in front of the other, that's how you get everywhere.

You aren't letting anyone down on here. I'm so glad to hear you are getting back into things. I'm trying to do the same thing myself. Just joined a new BLchallenge which will help me alot. Maybe there is some place we can meet to if the schedule allows it to start walking too.

emoticon on taking the first steps!!!!
