Sandusky trial

Friday, June 22, 2012

I'm a sexual abuse survivor and watching the Sandusky trial is probably not a good idea for me right now. What upsets me the most is when Sandusky's wife, colleagues, defense lawyers attack the victim's credibility, which is TOTALLY moot in my point. What can you expect a person to turn into when a part of one's life is taken away like that. You are beyond damaged at that point. I was lucky enough to get some therapy early on. But the reactions of those incahoots with Sandusky reminds me of my own family. When I came out about my dad being a sexual predator, they protected him, not me. And still living under his roof is not making things any better.

Anyways, in relation to this site, I am in the mood for a full on binge. I wanna go to the store and buy a package of those Nestle drumsticks and finish the entire box. And then eat an entire bag of potato chips and dip.

... thanks for letting me vent

Well, I didn't buy he ice cream, but I did get the chips.

I'm not familiar with Sandusky Trail. It sounds like you are getting a handle on your past abuse, and knowing why you have "eating" issues is half the solution.

Chips are one of my biggest downfalls. I've had to go to the sink and pour water in the bag so I'd stop eating.

Congrats on your fantastic weight loss!!!!
