I felt like I was right there with you. When I was training for my half in March, I ran my 10-12 milers with the local running store in my neighborhood. I had one person who ran the same pace as me and I did not know it was possible to talk so much and run at the same time. Lol!!! The miles flew by.
Keep up the great work....you are making progress.
Awesome job Laurie!!!! Congratulations! Running that distance is almost more difficult mentally than physically. It's great you were able to feel so good during the whole thing! High five!! 3205 days ago
I think I fell in love with the 1:1 interval today. If I had more time I may have gone longer and if I weren't 3 weeks behind on blogs I would blog about it! But if I went 14+ miles today and could have done MORE?!?! How awesome is that, seriously? Can't wait to get up there in a couple weeks and run WITH you instead of just through text. BUT today we were running together, just with a few miles between us! LOL BUT first some Firecracker Bling!!! 3205 days ago
Laurie... I read & re-read your blog - how your training is coming!! YOU totally inspire me...don't ya know?!! Why is it so hard to make ones self go so danged SLOW? LOL!! Your determination to stay at that 14 m/m pace so inspires me to do it too!
...and ( ( You Rock ) ) for being 2 weeks alcohol free!! Running 4 U sounds fun! I'm in! 3205 days ago
