Back on track

Not that I was completely off track, but I think I'm getting my mojo back.
I went grocery shopping and did pretty good, if I do say so myself. My husband asked for candy and pop for himself. I gotand cantaloupe and a few bottles of fitness water for myself. When I came home I cleaned out the refrigerator and got to work dehydrating some ripe peaches so they don't go bad. Hopefully I caught them in time.
Then I started cleaning since we got notice that the apartment people are doing the annual check tomorrow. They are only checking for damage and to make sure (in our case) that the cats aren't the first thing you notice when you walk in. Actually a girl I work with lives upstairs and she was told her apartment would be checked more often since she has cats. Cats get such a bad rep because of the letterbox, but as long as you clean it everyday it isn't a problem. Anyway I'm not going to worry about the place being spotless. It's cleaner than Penny's apartment on the Big Bang Theory.
I couldn't walk outside like I wanted because the thunder started just as I got home from shopping, so I settled for a Leslie Sansone video. I used to think the two mile workouts were about all I could do after I got home, but ow I realize I have time for the longer ones as well. I even have my portable DVD player in the bedroom so I can exercise even if my husband is watching tv. My plan is to walk a mile on my lunch break and then do a workout video when I get home. Wildlife sanctuary nights will be a bonus. I know, I know, start out slow. I've been walking on my break since my husband started back to work so I think I will add the video 3 nights a week to start.
My friend from back home is looking to start a weightloss journey. She had a baby about three weeks ago and her husband is quite big so they decided to join Weight Watchers together. I advised her to check out SP too. Waiting to see if she does.
I still want to move away from my MIL and back to Michigan, but have decided to make the best of living here. There are things I would miss if we left Green Bay, so there are positives. I just don't think it's the place for me.
