Starting to pay off?

Wednesday, July 18, 2012

I survived the first day back at work. The kids were all happy to see me and it was nice to get back into things, but I don't know, my heart just wasn't in it. Maybe because I had a sub with me today who didn't know the kids. She's usually with the babies, but she did well with the two year-olds.

One of my coworkers asked if I am losing weight. I think it's because I was wearing a shirt that fit. Usually I wear t-shirts with pictures on them because the kids love them. I even get requests some days. Anyway, most of them are on the baggy side. The only thing I've noticed is that my jeans (before it got too hot to wear them) aren't as tight on my stomach. That I think is from giving up gluten because that happened quite quickly. It was nice to hear though.

My husband is getting excited about the new job. He has a new trainer and found out that for the first 1 - 1 1/2 months he'll be full time. He also feels like he's undertanding more. It's good, obviously, but I'm not too interested in moving. I like my wildlife sanctuary and miss it when I'm gone for a few days. Oh well, I'm getting ahead of myself again.

The first day back from a vacation is always a little rough. You want to be back on vacation even if it's good to be home. Compliments are always nice, huh? You can think all you want that it's because of this or that, but enjoy the compliment! You've earned it! It's good to hear your husband is enjoying it more, but it's definitely not helpful to get ahead of yourself and start worrying about moving. There will be a time to make the the decision, and it's probably not that time just yet. You're also thinking about the MI trip, so you've got a lot of emotional thought going on. Give it a little time then work on making a logical decision about where you will end up.
