A puppy, a newborn baby, a gallon of water...the human head.

I've lost 8 pounds this week. RIGHT ON! I know the first week of any weight-loss program is always the most skewed as far as numbers...but I can't say I'm complaining.

And not only is the scale smiling at me...so is the waistline on my pants...my usually tender feet...and my previously indigestioned stomach. I feel so much better than I did last week. I attribute it not to the pounds gone, but rather to better food choices and to the mild exercise I've been doing.

So...yeah, me! I think I'm ready for the next week. (And, believe me, I only plan on taking things a week...maybe even a day...at a time.) :)
