3 years since sleeve

Thursday, July 26, 2012

Well, it has been 3 years since I was sleeved. I have lost about 100 pounds. I was in a car wreck and had to stop exersizing for about a month and gained some weight back though emoticon I have read and been told that at the three year mark after surgery is where most people begin to gain their weight back if theyre not careful. So this 14 pound gain has really freaked me out. I was having trouble getting off that last 10 pounds in the first place and now it is 24 to get off AFTER I stop the gaining momentum I have built (I was shocked to see 157 on the scale this morning considering I was 143 before the wreck 6 weeks ago). I have been reading a lot about the risks and benefits of cleansing our systems. It seems the most beneficial result is that with a cleaner system your body can produce more (and more effective) fat burning/eating enzymes. Considering how hard I have worked to get this weight off and I am still gaining I have decided to do the master clenase diet starting one week from today (have to wait until I get paid). I am considering a pescatarian diet afterwards. I plan on doing video's and pics of myself every week during the cleanse and for about 2 months after to make sure I find the right fitness and nutrition program to maintain my results once I get where I want to be. I will try to blog every day of the cleanse also. I am hoping it will be a valuable tool to help me vent and stay motivated. I am already worried about the week of my menstral cycle and its affect on my motivatin level during this cleanse (I am sure all ladies can relate). Well, I will blog on day 1 of the cleanse in exactly one week. Wish me luck emoticon

Thank you. I am recovered from the accident now and able to hit the gym 4-6 days a week emoticon I switch my work out up all the time too. I don't get bored as fast that way. Thanks for the comment!

Good luck ! And, by the way, CONGRATULATIONS on losing so much and keeping it off for so long ! Super fantastic ! How badly are you laid up from the accident ? Maybe you could change your exercises to accomodate - yoga or elastic bands or swimming.
