The last two weeks were spent vacationing in the beautiful Maritime provinces of Canada. I have to say, my progress has been seriously affected. Here's the brutal truth -
My progress July 15 through 28:
1 - to continue running 3 times a week
**I ran twice during my vacation. Once on the 18th for the 20 minute challenge put on by the Running Room and then again, on the 22nd, from the Not Since Moses finish line back to my car. Total mileage in those two weeks = 4.71 kilometres. I did do some walking but not nearly enough
2 - to lose my last five pregnancy pounds
**The scale moved in the WRONG direction while I was gone. If anyone thought that my conversation with the scale in week two was entertaining... well, let's just say week four was not G-rated. Heck, it wasn't even PG-rated.... and then I went and blew up at PEHASS2 because, well you know, he's a man and he can take having a crazy woman screaming at him for no good reason. Thankfully, I think he's still okay with spending the rest of our lives together.
3 - to blog my progress every Saturday
**I'm late! I'm late! And I missed week 3.
4 - to drink eight 8 oz glasses of water a day
5 - to sleep 7 hours a night
They may have been broken but there were usually 7 or more of them. We didn't really adjust well to the time difference.
6 - to add two- days of strength training to my week
7 - to add one day of yoga/stretching to my week
Now, today is a new day of a new week and, almost, a new month. I'm going to kick some serious butt in August. Gained pounds BEGONE!!
