ok so its been a month ive lost and gained and loss the same 8 pounds. im not giving it my all and cany seem to get ot of my own way. having alot of stress right now but i cant really blame it on that. its me i give in to easy. i need to compete with someone. im going to make this work im really not looking for high weight loss at this point in my life im just looking to feel better. emoticon

    The important thing is to just keep going. Every time you go to eat ask yourself why you are wanting to eat it, if you need to eat and is it nutritious? Taking even that moment of retrospect may give you the will power to say no. Also remember not to starve yourself. Eat 5-6 small meals a day with lots of protein. That should help too. I like the idea of the weight watchers and nurses checkins too. Best of luck to you. You get an A just for trying and sticking in there! emoticon

    It is tough to teach yourself discipline. I think the largest percentage of us have similar problems. We can do well at times then we falter. I have learned that consistency is the key in tracking nutrition and fitness. By tracking your calories you can see immediately how many you consumed. The tracker can "slap you in the face" and bring you back in line. If I don't track I cheat. So with that being said I better go log in my breakfast.

    Weight watchers is a great way to just be accountable or you might be able to start a deal with your doctor and ask if you can come in every week to weigh in with a nurse and keep yourself accountable for that. i did it with my doctor for a while but i had then had trouble with the amount of food i was eating and i needed more encouragement so i joined weight watchers and i also do spark people that way you can right down how feel.
    ps. i didnt have to pay everyweek for my doctors deal because it was only the nurse weighing me. but every 8 weeks she would take my blood to make sure i was doing ok. and occasionally she would say hi to me and compliment me.
