I have a cold. I skipped the gym on Tuesday and Wednesday and I am in that ugh mode. I went back today, but it was difficult. I did my HIIT on the stairmaster, but instead of doing 25 minutes on the elliptical like usual, I did the recumbant bike instead. Just because I was feeling so crappy. Can I just say that I think the bike is a total waste of time? In 25 minutes I burned a measly 120 calories! I was riding as fast as my legs could pump on the fat burn mode and that is it! In 25 minutes on the ellipitical, I can burn 300-350 calories depending on what level I am on. I think no matter how cruddy I feel from now on, I am going to do the elliptical. I might fall off or pass out from weakness, but at least I will burn more calories! LMBO!
