Time to make some changes in my life!

Well the decision was made to stay home and away from my very demanding job for another year. It was alot to swallow but I had to decide what was best for me. Even though sometimes I have a hard time doing for me.
I talked to my therapist this week and she is telling me to get into a daily routine. That's hard for me considering I have RA and depression and so I am unmotivated some days.
So far though I have started back to the gym in the morning, come home have a cup of coffee and catch up with sparkpeople and facebook. After that I get stuck. I have things to do laundry etc. but am very unmotivated.
I decided to take a walk in the afternoon and then get dinner ready. My only other hard time is at night. My partner is also a teacher so she is working and I am alone in front of the tv with my own thoughts and feelings that sadden me.
I am up late, sleep like crap and up early.
Its hard to make changes for the good. It seems to be easier to stay in that hole I have dug myself in. I am going to try to make some changes though and find a better way to handle my days.
Any ideas on what might be helpful please feel free to respond to my blog.

    Sometimes I have to make myself do the things on my "to do list" (that I don't like) and then reward myself with some Spark's time or FB.
    It helps motivate me.

    Mark Twain wrote: “Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.” In a nutshell: Instead of procrastinating get the thing you don't want to do out of the way first and then you can enjoy the rest of your day. Sometimes I have to remind myself of that quote 3 or 4 times in a day, but it has helped me. I hope it helps you too.

    Walking is great for RA and depression so you are already doing something very positive for yourself. I try to spend a t least 10 or 15 minutes out in the sun. That helps give me lift. Hang in there. Change is not an event, it's a process. -Geneen Roth
