Typical Saturday

Saturday, September 01, 2012

Grocery shopping done, prescription picked up and friend visited in the hospital.

Good food eaten today and tracked.

It was a little cooler outside today and getting cooler at night. It is getting dark earlier and light later in the morning.

It has been a rough summer with not much exercise and too much hot weather.
I keep saying I will exercise. I might get to the gym one day and not again for 2 weeks. I know I my body especially my joints would feel better if I was swimming 3 times a week. Instead I am getting the rest and good food I need and basically saying no to exercise. Maybe I don't come right out and say no, but by not going, I say no.

Wednesday was not a typical day. I took a shower and fell. I fell out of the tub and hit my head on the toilet. I am sore everywhere and it isn't getting much better. My muscles hurt like I worked out really hard on the bike. Sure didn't help my arthritis much.

Today I finally got back into the shower and didn't fall. But my bath mat moved again. I don't want to re-live that again, ever.

So the week ends with a better day and new groceries in the fridge and cupboards. The weeks ends better than it started...now if the pain would go away.

Ouch that fall sounds like it it hurt. Glad you are mostly okay after it.

I have a variety of workout DVDs to help keep me going.

Sorry to hear about your fall. It's always scary to lose your balance, especially in the bathroom -- too many hard things to hit.

I hope you are feeling better today.

Have a good Labor Day! emoticon
