A Good Start to the Day

Sunday, September 02, 2012

I slept well and started my day with a good breakfast. It is Sunday, so I don't have to go anywhere until 11am when church starts. No other major plans except going to a friends after church. No errands to run and no shopping today!

I like the quiet of Sunday. It is my day to just attend church and rest. No housework today. The laundry can wait until tomorrow. emoticon It is usually a day that Snickers (my cat) and I can hang out and rest. Snickers enjoys me being home. He sleeps on my lap most of the day...just being content with the slow day.

It is suppose to be cooler today. Only in the eighties...I like fall!!

I plan to eat within my limits today. A good salad for lunch and a chicken dish for dinner. I already started with a good breakfast. No exercise on Sunday except a little walking. I am not able to walk very far, but a little each day is all it takes.

Going to Bobbie's this afternoon to hang out. Will have dinner with her tonight. We might make some cards or do some scrapbooking. Not sure what she wants to do. We haven't hung out for a couple months. She was busy getting ready to go to China and then spent 3 weeks there on a mission trip. Our summer totally got away from us as far as spending time together. We did go shopping yesterday and it was nice. emoticon

So, whatever you have planned for the day I hope you have a great Sunday. I am going to enjoy mine...the first one in September!!
