Good luck on your surgery. We have a 84 year old neighbor who just had that surgery. He is back to work. He did fine. You will also. emoticon

Bobie, I'm sure you are anxious, but please don't let it get you down! You will be so glad you got it taken care of. We've never had knees done at our house, but I've had both hips (easier than knees) and my DH has had both hips AND both shoulders done. Sharon is right--you must consistently follow the recommendations and do the exercises and therapy. It is critical to a good recovery, and I know there will be times you won't want to do it, but keep at it, as it will pay huge dividends in the long run. Will keep you in my prayers and hope you get a chance to drop by and let us know how you're doing! Hugs, Jeannie

I actually need 2 knee replacement myself . . .I'll be praying for a complete and good recovery for you. I assume you are have just one knee done? My Dr. won't do both of mine at the same time as just says it would be so hard to recover from that. Please keep us posted later when you're feeling better how the surgery went. Like everyone tells me, they are all so glad they finally had knee surgery and are living pain free now. I'll be praying for you.

    Hugs,

    Jill

Hi, Bobie. Take it from someone who knows, you will be so glad you had the surgery once it is over and the rehab complete. I've had both knees replaced, and there is no way I would ever go back to the pain I had before surgery. I know it is hard to wait, but just be patient and it will all be over soon. Just remember to do all the exercises that you are supposed to as that is the key to a full recovery. The very best of luck to you, and you will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers.
    Take care of yourself!

Oh Bobbi, The waiting is the worst! Hope and pray that the Blood levels and Cardiologist all line up and that surgery can be done! This will be just a short term inconvenience for a long term relief from pain.
Saying a prayer for you now! emoticon Hoping for a smooth surgery, and steady rehab, and a better pain free future!

Depending on how up to date the facility you do rehab in, they may have laptops available, or a library type room, where you can use one.
But if not, Please ask your daughter to post and let us know how it went... emoticon Good Luck!
