What a week

Saturday, September 22, 2012

In preparation of our ghost tour tonight to celebrate our anniversary I am watching Ghost Whisperer. I am really excited about this, even if it's supposed to be in the 30's or 40's. Camera is ready and waiting and I have a new outfit to wear.

Anyway, I got absolutely nothing accomplished this week. Two weeks of feeling like I am coming down with something and I am getting nowhere. No energy and cold-like symptoms. Hopefully we get a frost soon to see if it's allergy related.

Ran my foot over with a shopping cart. That was fun. Looks like someone bit my ankle. Of course it's the same foot that I dropped the table on, so that is rather painful. At least shoes don't hurt anymore.

I told another friend about SparkPeople. She was part of the lighten up competition at work and was just diagnosed with gastric paresis. I showed her some of th teams and advised her that these people can help her since they're actually dealing with it as well since she feels like she's getting nothing from the doctor. Hopefully she follows through.

Trying hard to keep my mind from focusing on how this weekend is THE weekend for my husband and I. I guess I'll have to see how it goes between now and Tuesday. Then it may be time for his wakeup call. Hard move, but something I have to do to save myself.

Gastroparesis is not easy to deal with, especially if the doctors aren't giving you the information you need. Please invite her to contact me directly and I'll try to help get her involved in the GP team. I have tons of information I've found and am willing to help her work on figuring out what to do.

Is it possible you have the flu? Many times the flu lasts for weeks and can come on slowly then hit hard suddenly.

I hope the weekend ends with happiness, not with the dreaded wakeup call. Still, I wish you strength and perseverence through this time. No matter what happens, you have your sparkfriends here ready to celebrate or support you through this trying time.
