October

Sunday, September 30, 2012

Although spring is my favorite season, October is a close second.
The cooler weather has helped my swelling some. I am feeling a little better and am moving more. There are also lots of things to do around town. Yesterday, I went home to a BBQ cookoff fundraiser at the church with mom. Saw some old friends. It was nice weather and they had a good crowd. Then we went to moms and I worked on her flower beds for the afternoon. Got a little sun but also killed some weeds!

On the other hand, got a message last night that the person killed in a motorcycle wreck on Friday was the husband of one of my high school friends. They have been married about 30 years. I haven't seen her for a long time, but my heart goes out to her and her family.

Take care and enjoy the nice fall weather. Diana
