I fell asleep about 8:30 pm and am up at 12:30 am. I tried to stay awake. I just couldn't!! I was so sleepy!!
So I am on Spark People getting some Spark Points and blogging. Good thing to do if you can't sleep!! I get a lot done during the night on Spark People when I am not able to sleep. I know the professionals/doctors frown on working on the computer during the middle of the night. I give them credit for knowing that it does wake you up and it is harder to go right back to sleep. I know I will have time to lay down and will get tired about 4 am, so I am not worried about being awake now. I did get 2 nights of good sleep, so it is a pattern for me to get about 2 good nights and a bad night after that. I did try to get back to sleep before I pulled out and turned on the computer. When it didn't happen in 30 minutes I got out of bed! I will not toss and turn for longer than that. Doesn't make any sense!!
I lost .6 pounds from Monday to Wednesday. I know that isn't much, but it is two days during that TOM. Not bad I say!!
I rode the recumbent bike and did the nu-step recumbent cross trainer yesterday. I think I might take today off, because I have to do laundry and going up and down the stairs is enough work for me with my arthritis! Maybe by Saturday I can get back in the pool. I don't swim during that TOM.
I do other land exercises instead. Like the bike and nu-step and going up and down the stairs at my apartment.
I am having a hard time not eating in the later evening like after 7pm. It is dark and I know it is a habit in the fall and winter. I had calories left and a little fat, but I went a little over board!! I can't have just a serving of one thing. I eat one thing and then another. Not sure if you would consider it binging (spelling), but I know I am hungry and just want a little something. Then it turns into more than that. I don't eat a whole lot, but I do go over my calories and a little over my fat.
I had a caffeine free pop last night, at least it was diet caffeine free. Diet soda is my last hold out. I haven't given it up yet. Not sure I will.
I ate well until last night!! I wanted to go get some fast food and resisted!! I am going to the Pita Pit on Friday with a friend, so decided that would be my treat. That is pretty healthy. I use turkey and lots of veggies on the pita. I also eat a whole wheat pita. And I try to limit the sauce I have put on the pita.
I love the romaine lettuce there as it is so fresh!!
I still have some of my bountiful basket left. The bananas were really green. I have eaten two of my four tomatoes. Some of the lettuce salad with some carrots and sugar snap peas I bought at Albertsons Monday. Also ate some apples and I think my avocado is about ready. I think I will have my broccoli tonight.
No oranges in the basket the last Saturday which is probably a good thing, as I didn't eat the last ones...I gave them all away. Citrus fruits tend to give me heartburn. I can eat a few oranges, but had some in the basket a couple weeks ago so had my fill.
I did have some frozen blueberries last night. Don't like the fresh ones, but I do like frozen. I know that is funny or quirky...just how I roll!!
Well, I better close this blog. It is getting pretty lengthy!!
