Today at my doctor's appointment he suggested that I ease up on my running and take up cycling because of some spine issues I'm having.

    I happen to love biking (and I was running last year), and would bike over run any day, but it sounds like you feel differently. I hope you find some enjoyment in it!

    That is a total bummer!!! As you know i totally understand! I can feel my shins splints a little too much, but not real bad from the walk on Sat. I miss being able to run and jump. Cycling is great though! Come take spinning class with me sometime. Hopefully you can just keep crosstraining between them. I know how you feel.... We will make it through some how! Sending lots of hugs!!! emoticon
