Me?? Bootcamp?? YUP!!

I started bootcamp today and I'm excited/energized/overwhelmed/
tired/sleepy/sore all at the same time =)

First off here are my assessment stats:

emoticon 1 Mile Run: 14:10 (new PR for me BTW)
emoticon Sit ups: 21 in one minute
emoticon Pushups: 11 in one minute

OK, now to breakdown my description:

excited: I have a great trainer, this is something completely new to me and that alone makes me want to push it even more.
energized: I feel good that I do this first thing in the morning so it sets me up for the rest of the day.
overwhelmed: Like everything else that I've tried being a big girl in a group of fit people is overwhelming at first. But I hope that also like everything else I get comfortable with my teammates and the overwhelming feeling goes away very quickly.
tired: I knew I was going to start this morning yet I had out of town company this weekend celebrating a cousin's birthday so we lived it up like we were 21 again. So I'm still recovering from a long, busy, weekend that went on till the wee hours of the night Friday & Saturday.
sleepy: Again, lack of sleep this weekend and not going to be early last night + all the energy I did spend working out + I had to get up at 4:45am to be at the park by 5am and I am NOT a morning person. But I guess I better start being one again.
sore: Well.... its bootcamp. If you're not sore, you're not pushing hard enough, I think.

So that's what I'm up to right now. Bootcamp Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Walks Tuesday, Thursday. There's also Zumba Wednesday nights but I have math class so I cant make it. =( I'm so bummed. It's only temporary though so I'll get back into my Zumba soon. =)

So that's my update. Hope to see awesome results with this new program.

    Woohooo :-)! Yay to boot camp! Glad you took on the challenge and are enjoying it. Good for you in sticking to it by getting up even though you where tired. Not a good thing to do regularly of course. But for day one of boot camp it is awesome! Can't wait to see the progress you make with it! How many weeks of camp is it?
