The Holiday Rush

Somehow today the entire holiday season is on my mind and that of my co-workers. Now - hear me out - we are involved in it because we are a distributor of hair care products and sell to salons so they need to plan early. But I am a planner also, shop all year and truly love the season - all of it.

There was a blog I read today that the person choosing the theme for their Christmas celebration was choosing that they needed to write each other a personalized letter. I love that idea. The last time I wrote a letter like that was for my daughter's 16th birthday. That was 12 years ago. What a wonderful gift to give your loved ones. Both of my daughters have birthdays the week before and I think I will do this for that occasion but I love the idea. I think that I will make it a goal for 2013 to write a letter to my loved ones (family or friends) for their birthdays. Their birthdays are important to me also as I would be so much less without each of them in my life.

So - back to Christmas. I'm smiling just thinking about it. Time to prepare - time to plan - time to celebrate as a family - and time to rejoice that God so loved the world that he sent his only son. Peace to all.
