Last year my cholesterol numbers rose above the minimum. I thought that I was doing good but not good enough because the numbers have not budged. So for two weeks I am following the Spark food plan. The major changes are reducing the amount of meat and increasing the amount of oatmeal, reducing the amount of margarine I use and increasing the amount of fruit, and finally eliminating full fat cheese. I love cheese, wine and coffee. Reduced fat cheese is just not the same but I am willing to do this for two weeks. The wine and coffee stay. I have lost another pound so this may work out. I have added interval walking every other day. So three days down and 11 to go.
