Back on track

Or at least I think I am. I found a gluten free green bean casserole. It's no healthier than the traditional one thanks to the onions. I even found the soup while shopping today. One hurdle down.
My husband now gets home before 6:30 or 7:00, so when I get home I can start cooking supper instead of eating a snack. That should help me get back on track too.
Spooky seems to be better. His tail looks better and his top fin looks completely healed. I don't get it. I cleaned the tank and treated it so hopefully all will be well.
It's funny. My kids at work are so used to seeing me eat apples, bananas, carrots, etc. that they now would rather eat my food than what they are served. They had cheese and crackers for snack last week and I had to share my grapes with them. Today they had apples at lunch and for once they all ate them, even though they had peels. It's hard to get most of them to eat the main course these days. Fruits and veggies are what they want. I had to laugh the day they wanted baby carrots instead of cinnamon-sugar tortillas. Of course they still ask for cupcakes.
I am trying to prioritize my worries. I was really bad when I was little about worrying about everything. I remember being worried a lot about the end of the world. I just need to remember that there are things out of my control and focus on the things I can do something about.
