Post election

Wednesday, November 07, 2012

I have spent the past week working intensively working on a campaign. On the good side, we WON!!!! I have never been so proud in my life. I have been working on this issue for 5 years. It feels so good.

On the not so good side, this campaign was murder on my diet and exercise plan. I was surviving on few hours of sleep and eating all kinds of junk. volunteers were constantly bringing in food and under the stress, I had no willpower.

Well the election is over, and starting tomorrow, I'm back on the wagon. At the election party, everyone was congratulating me on all the weight I have lost (40#). It felt so good. I am not going back. All the junk food is now out of my house and I am back to eating healthy and will go back to the gym. I want o lose another 30 #. Wish me luck.

Ya done good, Fred. Congrats on the issue passing in a big way. It's about time. Now, if only all the other states would follow the leader.....(sigh) This election period was a real eye opener to me in a lot of ways. I don't remember ever seeing so much downright crazy and irrational rhetoric being bandied about. Maybe I'm just naive, I dunno. But proud of ya, tree mate, keep up the good work. You'll dispose of those last 30 #, I have no doubt.
