So this week on Sunday I weighed in and measured myself the best I can. I was able to post 1lb gone and no net inches lost (waist and hips down a tad but my boobs seemed a bit bigger. I don't know if it's hormonal because I had a partial hysterectomy. I still get hormonal fluctuations but they aren't nearly as severe and no menstruation

).
BUT my favorite jeans aren't fitting so good! I can pull them up and down without unbuttoning or unzipping!
Every morning the number on the scale is still stubbornly stuck but I think we all know by now that that's only a number and is just one indicator of progress
And to report on my recent energy slump... I overslept this morning.

Luckily(?), my daughter is OCD about time

and always sets her alarm on school nights! So she woke me up

Hey, at least she doesn't just sit in bed crying anymore!
I keep a metal, insulated 16oz water bottle by my bed every night. So every morning I have cold water as soon as I wake up!

(Night waking asthma attacks make this a necessity but I love waking up to it even if my asthma isn't inflamed). Today I remembered to grab my pills when I started on that first bottle of water!
I think it may have helped. I've been really drowsy all day but I never got to the point where I couldn't function. I did a week's worth of grocery shopping and got the fruits washed and put away!

Oh, there's still plenty to put away! I'm not up to par today by any means but I did better.
My night is almost over now, too. I need to finish up the dinner dishes, turn everything off, story time and tuck the girl in, then off to bed with me!
So, in summary, scale good, pants falling off better

oversleeping bad, having an OCD child wake me up... okay maybe not exactly good but still

, hormonal fluctuations very, very bad

, hysterectomy

, cold water, remembering to take meds, and getting the fruit put away
Good night, friends, and be good to you because YOU ROCK!
