I don't understand some blogs. When our fellow bloggers ask for an opinion and you try to give a fair and impartial opinion on the subject matter and a fellow blogger starts to take it a little to personal, I just don't understand why. I try not to judge and be fair in all matters to all parties involved. And I believe in discussion if someone has done something to offend you. Trying to be mediator, I believe you should sit done with the offender and lay out all your cards and discuss it, try to come to a resolution. Is this unreasonable? Especially among room mates and best friends? Or am I being naive'?

Thank you both so much for your support. It just seemed no matter how many times I suggested that the parties in question should sit down and lay it out on the table what was bothering the two female roomates, about one of the three male room mates. And discuss it like adults. A fellow blogger just wanted to take it for face value and rip the one room mate.
Was I wrong for suggesting to sit down and discuss the issue at hand. After all, the original ending said" Well it is "so & so". I didn't want to use the guys name. I mean she made it seem like this was the persons normal behavior. All the guys were best friends and the two girls were girlfriends of two of the male roommates. I thought an adult discussion and possible resolution would perhaps be the best scenario. emoticon

I have to agree with you totally. If they didn't want you give an honest opinion, they shouldn't have bothered to ask!

I'm sure if you discuss the misunderstanding with the party(s), it can be resolved in an adult manner. Some people can be very temperamental. Those persons should not ask for advice or opinions if they can't accept the truth.

This is just my 2 cents worth.

I hope everything works out for you.
