We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Susie went to her son and DIL's house to be with them, her DD and DGDs. I went to my daughter's to be with her, her DH and DS and 2 out of her 3 brothers with their spouses and their kids. I saw 6 of my grandkids. My eldest son was with his wife's family in St Louis so I didn't see their little boys.
I won't go into what I ate....sufficient to say I tracked all.
The two reasons I am most excited are:
Today I'm going to the gym (LA Fitness). First time.

Sitting with a trainer. He will (yikes) measure my body fat, etc. With the arthritis in my hip, sciatica issues, bone spurs behind my knees, I plan on taking it very slowly. They have a pool, though...and water exercises. Recumbent bikes, aerobic dance classes. Kevin says beginners just do what they can at their own pace. As they get more fit, they can do more.
The other reason is (hooray!) my son (the one who is a cardiologist, see my photos with his wife and some of his kids and/or check out learntheheart.com) is going to build me a website! It is to be called mamaswisdom.com. Please don't try it yet, it isn't up. It will have my mama's wisdom and my own. At my age and with the personal/spiritual growth I have had, that would be enough. BUT...
It will also have some of my original poetry (some previously published here as blogs...see God's Greatest Miracle), my favorite famous poems, famous quotes on various subjects (all in the public domain).
I will do blogs. I have long wanted to have a venue to be able to post and follow my own thoughts especially on Love and forgiveness...all I have learned and learn every day from my attempt to live the principles in A Course in Miracles.
That is not all the blogs will be, of course. I will post some of my Toastmasters speeches, tips on public speaking, job searching, evaluation, LISTENING and leadership.
THEN my son will help me get ads...eventually I will make goo gobs of money to add to my social security and be able to get speaking engagements and quit my 'outside employment.'
I'm ready!
I hope all my current and future Spark buddies are having a great weekend. If you over

ate, please try to gradually make up for it....a bit fewer calories and a bit more fitness over the next month until the next round of holydays. (mispelled on purpose)

(just one, eat it slowly AFTER a meal so you're satisfied with one ;-)
