New Dx requires a New Spark Start!

Just came back from a dr visit. First time I've seen a rhumetologist.
He said my hip joint seems fine; my pain (lower back, sciatica, hip and sometimes down the leg into the foot) is emanating from my lower back.
I knew there was a reason I joine the OA of the Lower Spine team a couple years ago, even though my dx was knee oa!
The only exercise it is safe for me to do now, he said, is water exercise.
Tomorrow I get full spinal x-rays, then we'll see. It's important to note that I've regained all but 5 pounds that I had lost through SP! Partly because of almost no exercise but NOT lowering my calorie intake to make up for it. I had been using my fall on the ice accident and the resulting pain as an excuse for the exercise lack. Guess what? That won't fly anymore!
The gym I joined has a wonderful pool and water aerobics classes. I bought a lock today. Guess where I'll be tomorrow after my exercise?
I will still continue my little strength training with my dumb bells and exercist tube and bands.
