Christmas Day

Tuesday, December 25, 2012

A day of giving to others and not expecting nothing in return...it's nice...this is the gift I gave my husband today. I have been ill with laryngitis and as most of you know at odds with my husband over the food that is being brought into the house. Well I took your suggestions and talked to him again and he said he would try to be better aware of my needs in the future..
And we gathered up a couple of bags of food for the homeless shelter...WooHoo!!!
So instead of both of us missing out on the Holiday Dinner at his mom's and step DAD's, they live in Palm Bay,Fl. I sent him alone instead and assured him that I would be fine here at home by myself with his step mom checking in on me...Once his step mom and sister assured him that they would be taking care of me, he felt more comfortable about leaving me home with the puppies.. And I tell you I felt so relieved, no stress of the Holiday at all. Even called to check on me, very nice..
His mom prepared a very healthy dinner plate for me with the exception of two small slices of pie..I didn't complain since they were my favorite's and I was trying to compromise. And it is a new beginning..of course I shared them with the puppies. But, here is to a New Year a New Beginning and a happier, healthier me.....Thanks Spark Friends
