Wow, where did the year go?

Man a live.... 2013 is here... WOW
I have another year under me and nothing to really show for it. On a personal fitness level, anyway. Everything else is great, the kids the volunteering and all great. It is the whole "make time for me thing" I just cannot grasp.
January 8th my dd starts dance, so that means I can use the gym located under the dance area while she is dancing! That perks me up! Four days will cost me 20 bucks tho... Not cool. So Friday nights, I hope to begin a gym routine. Mostly utilizing the treadmill.

I am also going to changing up the way I eat, it will cost a but more, because it will be 'my food'. Haven't really discussed that with the bread winner yet. But it is for me, and I pray he understands.

I am at 208- not a huge change. But my outlook on how I am currently living has changed to determination to regain my healthier self, and not depressed because somewhere in the last thirteen years I have lost who I am.
My weight doesn't represent me, who I really am.... But struggling to breath represents poor health, and that is who people see.

I will be changing that! The Walk For a Cure, is in May.... Maybe this year as we raise Diabetes awareness, we will run it. Another goal.... To be able to run by May. Three laps around Elmira College campus, with my kids by my side! emoticon

    Go for it!!! emoticon Yes, weight doesn't define us, but sometimes less of it makes us feel a whole lot healthier!

    It sounds like you have good goals set, now just DO IT! Us moms often lose ourselves in the raising of kids, keeping a house and trying to always do for others. You are right that NOW is YOUR time! By making time for you, you will be adding time for them. Not only longer amounts by living longer, but quality as well .

    2013 could be your best year, yet!!
