Happy New Year

Monday, December 31, 2012

Well, I have to say 2012 was another challenging year. Physical problems abound and I am at my highest weight. The good news is some things are healing slowly and I have worked back up to steps counts in the 4,000. STill not back to last spring, but getting there.

Next year's goals are just to be healthier in the new year. Tax season begins soon and I am concerned that I may not have enough energy for both jobs. It has been challenging just doing one. But I know that part of that problem is I no longer like the job I am currently doing and soon I will need to consider the possibility of moving on. But a decision for later.

My first new year's eve without Dick Clark-say it ain't so!

Life changes and so do we. As I rapidly approach my 55th birthday, I wonder what the next year will bring. I am ready for a few nice changes this year!

Have a good 2013!

HI there and thanks for stopping by my page. We share so many issues--that year after my back fusion was all about me becoming me again rather than being my back. It was about me learning to trust things and try things and learning to fit in again. It will get better.

I will be learning, at age 57, how to change the way I walk with a hip that can do its own work and leave my back alone. It will be a good thing. I expect some issues at work with me being away again, but I am trying to get control of this body and I need to do it with everything available. I can decide about work when I need to do so!

This will be the year we get our lives and worlds back the way we like them most. It will be awesome!!

    Gentle hugs,
