Is today the day?

Today when I go to the gym I will be working on running for 20 minutes uninterrupted. This will be the 4th time I'm trying it. I think I have a mental block and I need new shoes. I took care of the shoes so we'll see. I BELIEVE I CAN DO IT. I CAN DO IT. This is what I tell my self the whole way to the gym. I WILL DO IT. I will keep repeating this even as I run.

Yesterday my 5 year old asked if we could go running. What a great idea. It looks like rain but as long as it's clear for a little while we are going to run around the block together :) LOVE HIM. Yesterday he saw an infomercial for a set of 10 minute work out tapes and he told me thats what I needed so I could have a belly like his but I would have to call to order them because they are not sold in stores :)

Well today was not the day. I did my best but my leg went numb after 10 minutes. New plan. Start on an earlier week with 5 minute intervals and work back up.

Positive thoughts and smiles all around today. So much to be thankful for. Enjoy your day.

    A change in shoes is great but it can also take a bit to get used to them.

    I think it's great how our focus on fitness gets picked up by our children and they want to do the same =] It's proof that children form to the environment around them!!
