NUI-SAN-CE!

Wow! Very busy weekend but managed OK. Didn't blog or log last night but I didn't make too many bad choices. It's really hard when we are on the run but thank goodness for some fun salads and ways to bump the veggies up! Yesterday was DD first basketball game, today was game #2 for her. She is playing an instructional league but there are some very talented girls on her team that control the game and have possession of the ball, playing more at a competitive level, scoring and fouling a lot! DD is not as aggressive and is having fun but I am concerned that the "star" player is discouraging any of the instructional level girls from even attempting to play

DS had practice and a game this weekend and their team is slowly adjusting and learning together. They are playing at a 5th grade competitive level but have 4th graders on their team to fill the team. It's amazing how much difference a year of practice/playing makes.

We had fun as a family studying for various 3rd and 5th grade midterms tonight. the most fun was trying to remember spelling words including nuisance... I think between the giggles and the song/chant... we'll all be able to spell all the words on the lists for midterms!
