Feeling a little better.

Yesterday I wasn't feeling well. Today I feel much better. I went to visit a friend's daughter and grandson in the hospital. They are in isolation and are not sure when they will get out of the hospital. It was really nice to visit with Autumn and see Konnor again, although I still haven't held him. He is 19 days old today. Such a mellow baby even with everything he is going through. He has MRSA which is a very serious staph infection that is resistant to antibiotics. He has a couple other problems that are also bad for such a young person. The MRSA he has is one that affects babies and toddlers under 2 years old. Autumn might be a carrier or he might have picked it up at another hospital when he had jaundice.
Autumn was so happy to have some adult conversation. I was so happy I went up to see them! She is as sweet as her mother. We had a great visit and if she is still there tomorrow I will go visit again. We also each have Verizon, so can call for free and text each other. That is really nice. Verizon works well in Montana and even some of my relatives in Wisconsin have it.
I went to church after visiting the hospital. Feeling thankful that I could go where I wanted and wasn't stuck in a small hospital room for who knows how long!! Some things we take for granted and that is definitely one I have taken for granted! What a blessing to be able to walk and get exercise. Even though it snowed last night I still want to go walk outside. The sidewalks are free of snow and I will go today, probably after dinner with friends, which is in a few minutes. I better sign off and go next door.
Have an awesome evening everyone! Count your blessings everyday!!
