INSANITY Day 1

Well, I did the Fit Test, which is the first day of the INSANITY workout. Here are my stats:

Switch Kicks - 51
Power Jacks - 20
Power Knees - 50
Power Jumps - 15
Globe Jumps - 4
Suicide Jumps - 3
Push Up Jacks - 5
Low Plank Oblique - 22

You're supposed to do the Fit Test every 2 weeks. So I'll be updating again on 25th. We'll see how this goes. I just know one thing, the Fit Test had me sweating like a cow. I can't even imagine what the actual workouts will do. But I'm excited (and really hoping whoever lives below me doesn't mind me jumping around for 40 minutes every day for the next 60 days).

    Thanks y'all! I'll be looking forward to sharing. I'm excited about the journey! I know that strength training is my weakness. I can do cardio all day long. So perhaps that's why my numbers are good for a beginner...? I have a BodyMedia Fit monitor, and the Fit Test DEFINITELY got my heart rate up. I got a pretty good burn for only 8 timed exercises (plus warm up and cool down...which aren't that easy with Mr. Shaun either). Anyhow. I'll post tomorrow on how my first full workout goes.

    I have been wanting to GIVE IT A TRY...
    But I have the whole P90X series and haven't stepped up to the plate YET. :)
    I have done a few DVDs here and there and used them as a supplement to other workouts.
    I know THIS...I was SORE when I did two back to back...have a plan IF you feel like that too. HOT Epsom salt baths, green rubbing alcohol, tylenol, a heater, ice down muscles...its like being an athelete. :)

    I don't know what any of these moves mean but your numbers seem impressive for a beginner. I have heard the Fit Test is killer. I am too afraid of Insanity. I look forward to seeing your results and improvements.
