Ash Wednesday

I was going to write a blog today that was going to detail what I planned to do during this lenten season. I did not get a chance to write anything before now
.
I did go to church tonight for the Ash Wednesday service - the readings were about not being obvious in your devotions. No gnashing of teeth, or wearing of sackcloth. (not that i do those thing anyway.... where does one get sackcloth these days???).
ANYWAY - the sermon was about being quiet in/with God...
So, instead of detailing all the plans for lent that I have been considering, I will be quiet. Mindfully quiet for part of the day, every day. I will come back and let you all know what, if anything, this quiet reveals.
