One Step Forward, Three Steps Back

There's nothing like being sick for sending your routine all crazy. I was doing so well, then BAM! Talk about having the rug pulled out from under you. As of this morning's weigh-in I am 2.8 pounds heavier than I was before I got sick and fell. Disappointing when I worked so hard to get it off in the first place. Part of it is because of so much sodium--canned soup, prepackaged food, and restaurant food is loaded with it. But I was sure glad to have it while I wasn't able to cook for myself. Then there's the lack of exercise........
I'm glad that I'm now doing well enough that I can start exercising again and getting in more steps. I swear, it's taking me forever to get up to those 5,000 steps a day! I'm also back to cooking again, so will be able to have much more low-sodium food. My official weigh-in day is Wednesday morning, so there's still time to lose some of that fluid weight.
