Good Bye Frustrating February!

February started out so well, then quickly took a downhill spiral after I fell the middle of the month. I came quite close to meeting my mini-goal of 14 pounds off by February 14th......actually lost 11 pounds! Although I hadn't yet reached my goal of 5,000 steps per day, the steps were increasing every day and I was getting in the high 3,000s. I was even starting to get in a little exercise here and there, although nothing close to consistent, but still a start. No Pepsi, lots of water, keeping close to my sodium and calorie goals, everything I needed to do to be successful.
Then came my fall, then the flu, then I just got totally off-track. Gained back 2 of the 11 pounds that I had lost, had Sprite while sick, sodium went crazy with lots of canned chicken noodle soup, and on and on. I am ashamed to say that today was the first day since last Saturday that I tracked my food, and I had been faithfully tracking my food every single day. What the heck happened?
Well, it doesn't matter what happened. What matters is what's going to happen from now on. Of course, that's for another blog.....have to plot my course of action.
