LIVING THE GOOD LIFE HABIT #1

Hi Spark Friends! This week on the 5% Winter Challenge we are to blog a new habit that we want to acquire this week. I want to be very aware of every piece of food that I am putting in my mouth and I can do that by eating clean. I had picked up a flu or virus that lasted about a week and a half and I have not felt good or even looked good since so rebounding for me on this has been slow. As we age and I am 70 years young, we have many deficits of nutrients and minerals in our body and I am looking to be more aware of what I am eating.
I just recently read a blog telling us about food additives that are banned in the US are still being used so reading the contents of what we are eating is very important. We must be aware! In addition to the clean eating I am also working on my journaling and a collage that I enjoy doing but don't always take the time. I am looking forward to acquiring clean eating until I can no longer think about the choices and I know that I am making healthy choices and it has become a habit. A big thank you to my spark friends who are so supportive of me! This journey is taking a long time but I will reach my goals this year! Hugs to all!
