How will you develop that new habit?

How I am developing the new habit of closing the kitchen after dinner except for the pre-planned snack is to PLAN, PLAN, PLAN.

-Plan my meals & snacks, then I can let go of feeling out of control & desperate for food. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

-Plan stress relievers like exercise (my personal axiolytic) & activities with friends. They take my mind away from eating. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

-Plan alternative stress & boredom relieving activities. A warm bath is totally soothing & away from the kitchen. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Good plan, Gail. I've been planning, lately, too. It paid off because i weighed yesterday and had lost a pound. Keep up the good work. Looks like you're having a good challenge.

    Well laid out plan. It's so true for me too that planning is key. It's time consuming to plan I find but well worth the results.
