Getting Stronger but Apparently Not Thinner

Oh man, do I have a stubborn scale! Actually I'm UP a pound since yesterday! Craziness! But I am NOT discouraged. I am doing everything right and sooner or later the scale will reflect it. I'm keeping the faith!
The SparkCoach visualization yesterday asked, "How could you measure your progress in a world where there were no scales?"
That was easy to answer. I've gotten SO much stronger. This week I did SIDE PLANKS for the first time in class. I did two boy push ups on my toes! When I first started I couldn't do a regular plank and I did wall pushups. Also, look at this Fitbit information from yesterday, after our hike. Yup, no matter what the scale tells me, I'm stronger, fitter, and in much better physical condition.
Today I'm going to go to my Women Run Arkansas training session, and will work out in the yard this afternoon. I'll plan a light day calorie-wise, and hope I at least lose the pound I gained from my hiking day! Have a wonderful Saturday, everyone!!
