Glad it is Monday again!

Monday, March 11, 2013

So I did good all weekend with the exception of I did not drink enough water. That is my normal for the weekend because I do not have my water bottle sitting next to me like Monday through Friday. I stayed in my calorie range all weekend and I had great workouts. I even ate out on Sunday at Texas Road House and still stayed in my calorie range. It is my husbands favorite place to eat. I had a 6 oz sirloin, house salad and green beans. Normally I would have ordered the loaded baked sweet potato with my 6 oz but I decided to be good and I am so glad I did.

I purchased two exercise DVD's this weekend. One was the Jillian Michael's 20 minute cardio Kickboxing. It has 3 different workouts on it and it is great. I should really lose some inches with that one because I sweat like crazy in those 20 minutes. I also purchased pilates. What I discovered is I am not nearly as flexible as I thought I was. HA HA! But I am sure with a little practice I will be okay. Because it is not a cardio intense workout I think I will save that to Fridays my normal exercise free day to do. I need to buy a pilates ball anyway so it will give me a few days to get that.

This morning I got in 35 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes of cardio kickboxing, along with my stretching. My goal this week is to be out of the 190's and lose 2 pounds. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sounds like a great workout. You're certainly doing more than keeping your fingers crossed.

Please blog about the videos and let us know what you think after you've used them a while.
