The Pie Diet

YES, that's what TC told me he was on!
Saturday our local grocery had pies & doughnuts on sale. I bought a peach pie, a cherry pie, and a dozen chocolate covered doughnuts, all TC's favorites. When I got home I cut each of the pies into 8 pieces, and froze them on a cookie sheet. Once frozen each slice went into a sandwich bag, and all the pieces were put into a gallon-size freezer bag. Did the same with the doughnuts.
Sweets don't bother me, so no worries there....but I was thinking that pies and doughnuts in the house might help me win the $200 prize in our 5% contest.
So....Saturday he ate two pieces of pie.
Sunday, he had a doughnut and a piece of pie at lunch time.
Sunday evening... another piece of pie for an evening snack! AND a chocolate doughnut! My diabolical plan was working!
And what did I eat? NO pie, and NO doughnuts, but sugar-free popsicles for an evening snack.
Monday morning, I was rewarded with a 2-pound loss.
TC, pie-eater and doughnut devourer, lost 1.5 pounds!
