Lately I have been inspired by several things.

First my cousin ran a 8 K in 45 minutes. I could not believe she finished the shamrock 8K in that time she was in the top 10% of the over 8,000 people who ran it. 45 minutes is what I run a 5K in. She is 12 years younger than me but it has pushed me to try a little harder, so tomorrow I am going to try to push myself out of my comfortable 4 - 4.5 MPH zone and try to push closer to the 5MPH time.

Second - I watched the Biggest Loser last night and was so happy that Danny won. She did not have a team to push her most of the time when she was down, she did it on her own. This makes me think of myself working out daily on my own. If she can draw strength from within to lose as she did I am going to try to do the same.

Third - My Profile. I have started to see body changes in myself. I may not be losing the pounds like I like, but when I put on my yoga capris, sports bra and tank shirt my profile is no longer offensive to myself. This tells me I am heading in the right direction.

Fourth - Also seeing the children on Biggest Loser last night. One of the children runs a 9 minute mile. Granted they are 25 or more years younger than me but I was impressed by their complete turn around. Going from coach potato, video gamers, etc to athlete is very impressive.

So today I started off with 45 minutes on the elliptical going faster than I have ever gone. Then I followed up with 15 minutes of circuit training. It felt great pushing myself and knowing I can handle it. I am looking forward to what tomorrow holds for me and the treadmill.

Love seeing things that inspire me it does make you want to push yourself when you see others like you that have overcome obstacles. Great thing about the biggest loser. Sounds like you have found your inspiration and now you just need to do it and I know you can!
