On my Way, 2013 Marathon Here I Come!

Well here we go... 12 weeks of 18 weeks completed! Marathon training is going well and much better than last year.. So far injury free, other than normal aches and pains that can occur during endurance training. I have completed successfully mile 17 and 18 miler training runs. This past week was a down week and a 13 mile run, which is prepping me for this Saturday's (4/13) 19 mile run! Wooot! Bring it, I'm ready to rock this bad boy! I'm less than 6 weeks out from the full marathon and feeling pretty confident! I would like to lose about 6 pounds but, I'm not stressing about it as the endurance training has caused me to bulk up a bit. I will focus on the 6-8 pounds post marathon during my down period and early training period for my September, October and November Half marathons. Yes! You read that correctly.. I'm going to do at least 3 more half marathons and plenty of other scheduled shorter races. I will change my training up a bit but will still endurance train!
I will continue to blog weekly now that I am closer to the marathon to allow anyone who wants to follow me, see how it's going!
