I was MIA all of last week as I had company visiting me from America. It was a wonderful holiday to have one of my sisters here. The absolute WORST, though, was when she went through security at the airport, as I couldn't go with her. It had been 9 months since I had seen anyone from my family in real life, so it was SO great.

My diet, however, didn't think the visitor was so great...with all the eating out, it decided to pack back on 6.2 pounds. I was SO disappointed in myself when I stepped on the scale, but I knew that I hadn't made the best choices during the week. Even knowing that and getting right back on track, it still doesn't make the gain any easier to bear.

However, I did get right back on track and have been really dilligent this week. As charged my Spring Challenge team Cascading Dahlias, I made four new recipes from SparkRecipes this week. They all were VERY good. I've included the links below. I don't make tough or fancy recipes, so each one was nice and easy, and I highly recommend them.

After my week of being back on the wagon, I lost 4. 6 of the 6.2 pounds I regained. I am going to continue to work hard and not give up until the remaining 1.6 followed by the last 34.8 pounds is gone and disposed of forever!
