Well, it's been a journey to say the least. I've decided that I've hit my goal weight. I'm in the high end of the normal range. I'd like it to be closer to the middle, but I think menopause is not going to let me do it no matter what I do. I've actually been maintaining for some time now and I'm happy where I am and I think I look good at this weight.
I'd like to thank everyone who helped me over the past 2 years. I think without your support, I wouldn't have been able to do it. You've been with me through the highs and the lows and I really appreciate it.
When I started, I weighed 260 and dropped 132 lbs in total: 13 lbs on my own prior to joining Spark and 119 lbs with Spark. I went down 8 pant sizes from a 24 to an 8.
Maintaining, I find, is a lot easier now that I lost weight gradually over a period of time and ate regular food. I've taught myself portion control and what foods I need to watch and what amounts. I've lost a lot of weight before, not as much as this time though, by going on those plans where you eat their pre-packaged food only to gain it all back and then some.
