Bibbulmun Track Virtual Trek Day 17

Today we broke camp and headed toward Collie where we once again got a hot shower, a hot meal, and a soft bed. The track today was pretty much the same forests and wildflowers that we have been seeing since leaving Dwellingup. All in all it was a nice peaceful trek.

We got into Collie early enough to grab a shower and a change of clothes before hitting the supermarket and camping store for supplies. It was then time for a little sightseeing before dinner.

Collie has some beautiful old buildings and many attractive parks and gardens to admire. I also found time to see the Coalfields Museum and the Replica Underground Mine. For dinner I went a little high carb with Lemon Shrimp Pasta and Cantaloupe Sherbet, a light and refreshing meal that was still filling.
