Big day yesterday moving rooms to accommodate our niece who is going to be living with us from Tuesday. She's flying in from home and she, and we, are very excited to have her. Wow, 5 girls in the house at one time. Gonna have to spend a little more time down the park with my 3 boys to get away from them LoL.
Had a fantastic workout this arvo after work. Only had time for deadlifts though as I got there late and then had to pick my son up from kindy. I decided that I would at least get my deadlifts done as they are the hardest but most enjoyable exercise.
I was able to begin with my maximum lift from four weeks ago for the first three sets of five. Then increase by 10 pounds for the next five sets of two. Then for the final round of six sets of one, increase my max by another 10 pounds, I was stoked as. Legs were shaky az though and by the last set almost collapsed lol, felt awesome!
Because I didn't get my dips workout in, ran out of time, i've decided to do some pilates and yoga tonight at home. I will hit dips tomorrow and do a more advanced yoga program. My coach has advised me not to do crunches, he says they are a waste of time and will do damage to my pelvic floor. And from experience, I agree. So no crunches YAY!
Eating really well again and have about 800 calories left for the day and very well because we are cooking corned silverside with trimmings so I'm sooo looking forward to that, mmmmm.
Our friend CIROHIO, Cathe posted a recipe for Baked Apple Yogurt and I made it last night for dessert. Yumeeeeeee! Thanks Cathe, it was delicious. You peeps gotta try it. Might try the turkey meatloaf this week.
I have been listening to a fitness & health guru by the name of, Paul Chek. He has some great common sense ideas and approaches to his physical and nutritional lifestyle. He's in his fifties, fit as a fiddle, strong as an ox and would definitely run circles around me for sure. I recommend you check him out on youtube.
I have to write a blog explaining the four phases of my lifestyle change to become a healthier, stronger version of myself as I have been asked to share, so prolly be on a little later doing that.
Till then, may you never stop becoming the strongest version of yourself and adding strength to others. Much love, god bless always and Kia Kaha! Be strong.
